Communicate 3. 2.1 Newsletter

Emails: Emails are perhaps the most common way for communicating with students and parents/guardians. With the popularity of smart-phones, emails can reach recipients instantly, making communications real-time and fluid. When emailing to multiple recipients, senders should send the message as a “bcc” to protect others’ identity and privacy.

Smore:  Smore is known as an online “warehouse and wizard for creating a newsletter.”  A very user friendly tool, Smore allows users to create engaging newsletters with images, embedded links, and videos.  It seems to be many educators’ favorite for publishing updates for their students and parents/guardians.

Here is an example of a newsletter I have created using Smore.
