Communicate 4.1.2 Rubrics

Rubrics are essential to the learning process. The instructor should always provide a rubric when assigning a project or report. Students can use the rubric as guidelines to know what is being expected in the assignment, how to complete the assignment correctly, and how to do their best in the assignment. Rubrics can also benefit the instructor when evaluating students’ work; they provide the instructor guidelines to grade the assignments fairly and consistently.

Here is an example rubric I have created for a report on My Family Tree for the  Chinese I class.
